Andrea Carnasciali-Ventura

Award-winning fine jewelry designer, Andrea Carnasciali-Ventura, is mostly known for her “contemporary meets old world” style, special cut stones and silver and gold creations. She has been awarded a finalist in the De Beers Diamond Awards, winner of the prestigious World Gold Council Trends Award and a winner of the Ponte d’Oro Italian Contest.

Currently, Andrea is launching her new designer line ANDREA VENTURA, which most say is her best work ever. In her creations, the native Brazilian combines old world texture, contemporary design and exquisite gems in her trademark color combinations. A true artist she hand sketches all her jewelry and custom cuts every stone to fit her creations.

From an early age, Andrea expressed her love of precious stones and metals. As a young girl, she attended mineral and semi-precious stone courses along with her mother, a noted landscape designer, who used gemstone colors and designs in various combinations with plants.

Born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Andrea graduated from the American School of Rio de Janeiro. This international form of education exposed her to different cultures where she learned English, Portuguese, French, and Spanish.  Upon graduation, she enrolled in the Catholic University of Rio where she earned a degree in Industrial and Advertising Design.  Following her graduation, Andrea’s desire to expand her education and gain practical experience brought her to J. Walter Thompson as the intern for the Creative Director.  Still searching for the perfect creative outlet, she applied to the Fashion Institute of Technology, in NYC, where she graduated summa cum laude with an A.A.S. degree in Jewelry Design.
